First Year Course - First Semester
This course dealt with the analysis of existing structures.
The Monastery of the Cross is a fortified monastery located in the Valley of the Cross in Jerusalem, between the neighborhoods of Givat Ram, Rasko and Rehavia. The monastery building was built in the 11th century on the basis of a building from the Byzantine period built in the sixth century. The monastery and the church are among the few buildings that have survived in Jerusalem in their entirety since the Middle Ages.
As part of the course, I focused on analyzing the geometry that characterizes the structure, and all its various parts.
