Fifth Year Studio Project - First Semester
This project explores innovative concepts such as virtual and augmented realities. In this world we live in there is a massive technological impact. This technology creates tools that mankind uses to produce a comfortable and better way of living. The virtual and augmented worlds are part of the same tools. They allow us to create a new layers within the existing reality. These worlds include possibilities such as freedom, creation, movement and imagination. It seems that they undermine the legitimacy of real life. As people sinks into these worlds they creates for themselves possibilities for more types of life. These worlds are created to fit into all humans activities and habits. In this case, the project examines how they fit into the architectural world. How the physical nature of architecture can blend in with worlds that are not necessarily physical.
