This studio was engaged in residential planning in the Talpiot industrial area.
The site of the settlement is a Junkyard, located on the intersection of the streets: Tzeret Street and Avital Street. The industrial area of Talpiot is largely characterized by industrial, commercial and craft buildings, but in some places residential buildings can also be found. Today, the places where the residences are located are close to the industrial / craft buildings, but there is no interaction between them. The purpose of the intervention in this area was to find the connection between the different types of construction. Is it right to integrate between them? does the area allows it? In addition to our personal work, we made different analysis of the neighborhood, in order to support the project planning. Planning in the Talpiot neighborhood is an issue that is currently in progress, with the aim of making it an area that combines housing and employment, along with spaces and public activity.
